Even if the MWC added UTEP, it doesn't mean C-USA


would automatically add NM State. Given the remaining 13 members, the conference may prefer to add someone more east (i.e. Arkansas State).

East Division: Charlotte, FAU, FIU, Marshall, MTSU, ODU, and WKU
West Division: UAB, LA Tech, North Texas, Rice, So. Miss, UTSA, and 1 more

The reason I mentioned Arkansas State is because of its rivalry with North Texas and a minor rivalry had started to develop with MTSU. WKU will remain in the East because of its rivalry with MTSU. While UAB will be added to the West (when it plays football again) and remain in the West because of its rivalry with So. Miss. If NM State is going to join a FBS conference, then the only one it should join is the MWC.
